TÜBİTAK 3501 - Career Development Program: Takdik-Rob: Humanoid Robot Trained via Imitation Learning
The project titled "Takdik-Rob" led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Özge Öztimur Karadağ from the Department of Computer Engineering at our faculty has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Program. The project aims to train humanoid robots to recognize human movements and respond accordingly, using an imitation learning model for robot training.
In addition to Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, researchers from Atatürk University and Middle East Technical University (METU) will also be involved in the project. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Özyer and Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülşah Tümüklü Özyer from Atatürk University will carry out research within the project, while guidance will be provided by Prof. Dr. Fatoş Yarman Vural and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Şahin from METU.
Lecturer Emre Çintaş, Research Assistants Ali Çoban and Uğur Kılıç, as well as undergraduate students Serhat Ulaş Sarı and Halil İbrahim Taşkömür, will also take part in the project as researchers.
